By the grace and mercy of God, I am a Church of God (Cleveland, Tennessee) pastor living in central Florida. My wife and I have led our flock here since April 2003. We have twin daughters and five wonderful grandchildren. Our house is quite noisy at times, because there’s a West Highland White Terrier who acts like he owns the place. Come to think of it, he does get his way most of the time.
We are Floridians! Orlando is my hometown and Panama City is where my wife was born and raised. Though it seems like only a few years ago, I graduated from Groveland Highschool in the early 1970’s. After spending some time at Lake-Sumter Community College I joined the Air Force and retired after 20 years. Along with scores of other veterans I consider it an honor to have served my country.
Because Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior, my desire is to please him in all I say and do. Until the day God calls us home, the Lord, my family and I are on a wonderful journey together. God never promised smooth sailing, but He did promise to be with us through all of life’s circumstances. What a friend we have in Jesus; He’s the Rock we lean on.
My wife and I are blessed to pastor a small but growing church. We have a heart for worship and a desire to see the presence of God in every aspect of our ministry. We welcome the Holy Ghost to lead us as we present the life-changing message of the cross to a lost and dying world.
Thank you for dropping by and spending time with us today. If you are ever in the local area, please take note of our services times and make a point to visit with us as we worship the Lord. Hope to see you soon.
